really cool

i am sure you have heard the phrase, count your blessings. i do that a lot. i feel at most times the most fortunate of men. i have a great family, and i do mean great not perfect. we have our times of closeness, times of getting on each other’s nerves, times of needing a bit of space, times of wishing we were together more, but through all those times we love each other. i live a dream fulfilled, from the time i was four years old i always wanted to play music, and that desire grew as i grew, it is something i pursued and never really gave up on although the look of it changed several times over the years. and now that is what i do, make music, lead worship, hang out with musicians most of the week , manage the different bands of highlands, and i just have to tell you, it is really cool, hence the title for today’s line. tonight i came to work, brought my stuff onto a first class stage (highlands fellowship abingdon va), broke out my strat and set up my rack, looked around and started counting my blessings, i am a man most blessed and thankful for my God who makes is all possible and life is made up of things such as this….
